Today I’m sharing the last part of my New Zealand cruise album! If you missed the last posts about the album, you can check out part 1 here, and part 2 here.
These spreads document the last leg of the trip – a sea day (during which I performed on stage for ‘The Voice of the Ocean’ finals – crazy!), Hobart, one last sea day, Sydney, and then our flight back to Brisbane. I also included a couple of spreads about the cruise ship itself, and all the delicious food we ate on board!
Today I’m sharing part 2 of my New Zealand cruise album! If you missed part 1, you can check out the post here. Today’s post will focus on days 6-10 of our trip: Wellington, Akaroa, an unexpected extra sea day (due to the weather we couldn’t stop at Dunedin as planned), the Fiordland National Park, and another sea day.
A lot of my spreads for this part of the trip are photo-heavy – it was just too hard to narrow down the selection! I added in a few journal cards and embellishments here and there to keep things interesting, but to be honest, this is what I like about pocket scrapbooking – it can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be!
Earlier this year, my whole family went on holiday together and took a cruise around New Zealand! It was my first cruise experience, and we had a whole lot of fun. I used an entire 9×12 album to document our trip, and today I’m sharing part 1 of that album!
I did a lot of travel journalling during the trip in a Moleskine cahier, which I included with the album at the title page. Since a lot of my thoughts and impressions were recorded in this notebook, I decided not to add much journalling to the album itself, and just focus on the photos and ephemera from the trip.
In this post, I’ll share photos of the spreads documenting days 1-5 of our trip – Auckland, Tauranga and our first full day at sea!
