This post is part of a series on the highlights from our 2017 trip to Japan. You can find the other posts here!
My absolute favourite part of our trip to Japan was the two days we spent at Tokyo DisneySea! I’d never been to a Disney park before, and was extremely skeptical of the claim that Disney parks are “the happiest place on earth”… but you know what? Tokyo DisneySea actually was the happiest place I have ever experienced!
We were lucky enough to visit DisneySea during the Halloween season, so there were themed decorations, food and shows all about the Disney villains. And this year, guests were allowed to dress up in Disney costumes for the entire Halloween season – it was pretty amazing to walk around the park and see so many people dressed up as their favourite characters!
DisneySea is unique to Tokyo, which is why we chose to spend our two days there rather than at Tokyo Disneyland. There are a lot of other websites that give you a super in-depth guide to the Tokyo Disney Resort to help you plan your own visit (like TDR Explorer or the Disney Tourist Blog), so this post will just run through my favourite things about DisneySea!
